Captivating Performance of Traditional Dancing

Each community from the three desa adats are responsible for different things. Tegehe (in Dlod Tukat) and Denjalan (in Jero Kuta) communities are handed the responsibility to throw traditional dance performances unique to Bali, including Kecak, Barong, and Legong to name a few.

The traditional dance performances are held everyday. Legong and Barong dances are performed in the morning, while Kecak is at night. Morning dance performances last from 09.30 to 10.30 AM WITA (central Indonesian time), starting with Legong, followed by Barong, and ending with Keris.

As for Kecak, it starts from 06.00 to 07.00 PM WITA. Unlike any other traditional dance, Kecak dance is not accompanied by musical instruments. It follows the rhythm of sounds coming out of dancers mouths. Each sound is different and put together in a distinctive way. Kecak in Batubulan itself is performed in an open theater, where each and every audience would be able to get a good view of the performance. A mix of local culture and magic combined in a performance you could enjoy at Kecak Dance Batubulan Gianyar Bali. On top of the epic performance, you could also take pictures with a local dressed in Balinese traditional clothing to keep as a memento of your visit to Batubulan.
